Shelby & Tyler | A Château Elan Engagement Session

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s an Atlanta engagement photographer, this is an exciting post for me to share! Why? Well, partly because it’s long overdue, and partly because I just love this beautiful couple and the location they chose for their engagement photos (and I’m so excited to finally be sharing them with the rest of the world)! Shelby had a beautiful vision for their Château Elan engagement session, and when she brought up the idea of doing it there I was so excited! I mean, what could be better than an engagement session at an absolutely gorgeous winery amongst rows and rows of beautiful vines?! (Ok, maybe enjoying a glass of wine afterwards but as I was still nursing my little one, I decided to pass). 

Prom Season

What I didn’t realize when we decided on a date and venue however, was that it was the hight of prom season! When we arrived, there were prom goers everywhere! But it didn’t phase Shelby and Tyler in the least, and they totally rocked their session (and Tyler even looks like he’s generally having fun, but how could he not with such a beautiful woman by his side?)! Pro tip: when you’re working with your Atlanta engagement photographer to plan your session, keep prom season and other weddings that might be going on in mind when you’re picking your location and date. I think we did a great job however, of making it look like Shelby and Tyler were the only two people at the château that day (and as far as they were concerned, they were)!
