Baby Mason’s Newborn Photo Session

Introducing the newest #sarahparkerbaby ! This sweet boy and his sister were recently in the studio for his newborn photo session and I am so thrilled that they came! When mom and I first started planning his session, she told me about wanting to include Mason’s almost 3 year old sister in the photos. Capturing these moments are some of the most important images to me, but anyone who has, or even knows a 3 year old toddler (or anyone who’s ever seen those viral photos showing all the silly reasons toddlers were having a meltdown) knows they have their own little minds and can be very unpredictable. So I prepped mom for the worst (the possibility that as 3 year olds do, she just may decide she was not going to take photos with her new little brother), and prepared for the best, and I have to say, little Miss absolutely nailed it! How adorable is this family? Mom told me his sister was so excited for the session that she eagerly picked out her own outfit! Well done little Miss!

 

Does it honestly get any cuter than this??? Look at how proud she looks to be a big sister to that adorable little guy next to her!

Capturing newborn details are some of my favourites! They change so quickly during the first year, and especially the first few weeks of life that I find little details like their eyelashes, mouths, little fingers, and adorable little toes to be must have shots!

I mean who can resist baby toes?!!!

 

And look at that hair!

He probably would have just slept all day if I had left him in this adorable fuzzy outfit from Modest Little Me. It was just so soft and snuggly!

 

I’ve been lucky enough to get a few awake photos my last few sessions (it doesn’t always happen) and I just love the little smirk on his face in that first photo! And how cute is he all tucked in?!

I know I say this about every session, but I seriously had so much fun with this cutie and his family and hope to have him back in the studio soon!
