Ellie Bellie’s One Year Cake Smash Session!

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his sweet girl recently came to my Cumming, GA studio for her cake smash session, and I am so thrilled that she did! I had actually been chatting with her mom for about a year through a Facebook moms group, but hadn’t met her yet because they lived in Houston, Texas. So you can imagine my excitement when she told me that they were moving back to the Atlanta area! And I was doubly excited that she wanted to set up a cake smash session for her soon to be one year old!

We chatted for several weeks before the session and tossed ideas around. Finally, we came up with an idea for a beautiful natural, organic shoot with wooden flower hoops in the background! Being the creative person I am, I headed to my local Michaels to get all the supplies I needed to make the hoops myself! This was my first time making these, and I’m thrilled with how they came out! Ellie’s mom found the most adorable romper from Babe Basics and got her adorable cake from Gabriel’s!

When the day of the session arrived, I was thrilled to finally meet Miss Ellie and her beautiful momma! They are both so sweet, and her mom and I got along so well, it was like having an old friend in the studio. I think Ellie felt very relaxed as well, as she really let her personality shine during our session! I am so excited that this girl is now officially a #sarahparkerbaby !
